July 27, 2019

Race day registration 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at Peaked Sports. Advance sign up is $30; available though July 26th at 6 pm, online at Athlete 360.com or at Peaked Sports; race day sign up is $40. Net proceeds benefit Teton Valley Trails and Pathways. Time trial interval starts begin at 10 AM with 30 second intervals. The race begins at Peaked Sports in Driggs, climbs Ski Hill Road and ends at the highest point on the road, about half a mile from the Grand Targhee Resort. The course covers 12 miles and 2200 vertical feet.
Parking is available in back of Peaked, on First Street, and on Little Ave. Please do not warm up on Little Ave in front of Peaked Sports as this generates congestion. Bike trainers for warm up will be set up in the driveway or you can bring your own. If you ride in the street use the bike lane on Little Ave. past First or the side streets and obey all traffic laws. The start will be in the bike lane at the Peaked driveway. Stage prior to the start in the Peaked driveway, not in the street. The course is open to traffic, but there are no stop signs. A bike lane is striped and signed for the entire route.
The pavement is good quality with the 6 mile Wyoming section above the USFS cattle guard receiving a new asphalt top coat in 2016. The 2.5 mile section in Alta was chip sealed in September 2013. The first 4 miles in Idaho were chip sealed with ¼” chips in June 2016. The winter of plowing has smoothed this section. Deer and cattle are present and there are accumulations of loose gravel in the corners so use caution on the descent. Beer and food at Peaked after the race. Results, awards and raffle at 1pm.
